Sorgente Cornish Holiday Cottage accommodation details Article Count: 7
Completely refurbished ready for our first season in 2010 to a very high standard, all modifications meet the relevant safety standards and building regulations and have reduced our carbon footprint in many areas of the redesign. This includes double-glazed windows and doors, roof and wall insulation, and a heat recovery system. Where possible we have returned to traditional skills and building materials that befit a property first built around 1850. Regular maintenance and redecoration is undertaken during the year and in 2016 we made yet more improvements redesigning the stairs. We are pleased that we are able to offer accommodation more suited to asthma and allergy sufferers and therefore we have a strict non-smoking, no pets policy. Our cleaner doesn't wait for spring to do a spring clean!

A traditional Cornish cottage near Falmouth set snugly in a row of granite stone terraced cottages that ooze old world charm in the ancient town of Penryn. The 2022 spring season is well underway so it's also a good time to start thinking about securing your holiday weeks for summer, autumn and winter breaks. Arrival and Departure at Sorgente
Guests are welcome to arrive from 3pm on Fridays (sometimes on other days when circumstances allow). This is to ensure the cottage is cleaned and prepared for your arrival. There is on-street parking in front of the cottage, with other parking nearby. Latest departure from the cottage is strictly 10am to allow us time to clean and prepare the property for the next guests.
This property is for 4 guests only, plus an infant under 18 months at the time of holiday check-out.
All appliance instructions are provided along with useful and important information about the property. Please find a moment to read these on arrival.

Welcome pack on day of arrival - this varies but may include: fresh milk, tea, coffee, Cornish cream tea, local newspaper, bottle of wine, juice, fresh flowers. Specific diets can be accommodated.
If your stay is two weeks or more, you may request a change of linen in advance.
Wood burning stove - two sacks of correctly sized, dry seasoned logs are provided. Pay only for what you use. They can also be purchased at most local garages and other shops during your stay but stocks cannot be guaranteed in the correct size.
