COVID-19 update (07 Nov 2023)

WE ARE TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2024

Due to any future guidance we may receive from local or national government and health advisers, we may have to cancel your stay due to Covid-19. In those cases you would receive a full refund or credit towards another booking with us.

Keep others safe!
If you do not believe in following all our Covid house rules and restrictions, please do not book this cottage.
We recommend that you are registered for track and trace – we have our own QR code in the cottage.
We accept bookings only if all of the guests in the group come from one household not exceeding 4 plus 1 infant under 24 months at time of check-out. All adults over 16 will be required to provide their name and address details and/OR scan our NHS QR code on first entry to the cottage. Extra visitors or guests are not allowed* under any circumstances. You must state at the time of booking how many guests there will be and their names. It will not be possible to add guests later. If you book for two guests then ONLY those two guests may enter the property.
We also ask that guests do not put themselves at risk and therefore the next guests which arrive following their departure.  We recommend that face masks are worn over nose and mouth in any crowded areas or within other premises. Avoid crowded places when possible, keep a safe distance and take home all your litter from the beach or other places of interest.
We understand that booking a holiday may be a difficult decision for many due to the restrictions of cancellation policies. Please take out a suitable insurance policy before you book. We are offering all new direct bookings (effected by future lockdown rules or by contracting Covid-19) the flexibility to change their bookings at anytime up to one week before check-in without further charge (proof of being positive is required), or a credit towards a future booking taken within 18 months of cancellation. Our agent’s will have their own booking terms.

Our cottage will undergo full sanitization at the end of each stay, however we ask that guests now remove all bedding, towels, bath mats, oven gloves etc and place them in a tied sack at the end of their stay prior to departure. You no longer have to sort the recycling as our waste management company does that for you. So ALL waste now goes into the same dustbin sack, including part-used hand soaps, and tied securely. This will help reduce the risk to our staff and the next guests.
Thank you and happy holidays!

*Please check with us if your are visiting relatives in the area and would like them to visit you at the cottage. This will usually be possible unless Covid is spreading at the time of your stay.
