Coronavirus update

WE ARE TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2021 and 2022

Due to future guidance we may receive from local or national government and health advisers, we may cancel your stay. In those cases you would receive a full refund or credit towards another booking with us.

Stay home, keep others safe!

If you do not believe in following all the Covid rules and restrictions, please do not book this cottage.

You must be registered for track and trace - we have our own QR code in the cottage.

We accept bookings only if all of the guests in the group come from one household not exceeding 4 including infants. All adults over 16 will be required to provide their name and address details and/OR scan our NHS QR code on first entry to the cottage. Extra visitors or guests are not allowed under any circumstances. You must state at the time of booking how many guests there will be and their names. It will not be possible to add guests later. If you book for two guests then ONLY those two guests may enter the property.

We also ask that guests do not put themselves at risk and therefore those guests which arrive after their departure. Face masks should be worn over nose and mouth at all times outside of both your home and ours. Avoid crowded places and take home all your litter from the beach or other places of interest.

We understand that booking a holiday may be a difficult decision for many due to the restrictions of cancellation policies. Please take out a suitable insurance policy before you book. We are offering all new direct bookings (effected by lockdown rules or contracting Covid-19) the flexibility to change their bookings at anytime up to one week before check-in without further charge, or a credit towards a future booking taken within 18 months of cancellation. Our agent's will have their own booking terms.

Our cottage will undergo full sanitization at the end of each stay, however we ask that guests now remove all bedding, towels, bath mats, oven gloves etc and place them in a tied sack at the end of their stay prior to departure. You no longer have to sort the recycling as our waste management company does that for you. So ALL waste now goes into the same dustbin sack, including part-used hand soaps, and tied securely. This will help reduce the risk to our staff and next guests.

Thank you and happy holidays!

Sorgente comments 2018

"We have had a very pleasant stay here at Sorgente. It was an ideal base for touring around the area and we have packed quite a few places into our short stay. The cottage was homely and had everything we needed except reading lamps, which would have been a welcome addition for evenings in front of the fab log fire !! Thanks for the welcome pack too!"

"A most enjoyable stay at Sorgente, definitely something a bit different! A lot of thought has gone into the design layout of the cottage and it's environmental imprint. The information graphics were very helpful and easy to understand. The fresh cut flowers were very welcoming, a big thank you to Alex and family."

"Thank you for a fab little holiday cottage to stay in. We have had an amazing time. My first visit to Cornwall and now I understand why my cousin moved here 5 years ago. We really can't wait to come back."
