Are you visiting Falmouth University and looking for somewhere to stay close by?
The main campus, Tremough, is in Penryn very close to Sorgente cottage. Since December 2013 the University no longer provides information (online or otherwise) for private sector accommodation for students’ parents or families.
Visiting lecturers/staff have stayed at Sorgente for up to four weeks during their short contracts, parents and families visiting their children who study there, have also returned each year. Perhaps you are attending a meeting or conference at the University or elsewhere in the Falmouth area. Sorgente is well positioned and not stuck in a town center or high street traffic. We have had many guests connected with Tremough, the Exeter University campus here in Penryn.
Sorgente is a good base to attend one of the University Open Days, staying a week to soak up the atmosphere of Cornwall as a great place for future study. Discuss this with us as we may be able to offer a discount on your booking.
