We are pleased that we are able to offer accommodation more suited to asthma and allergy sufferers and therefore we have a strict non-smoking, no pets policy. Our house-keeper doesn’t wait for spring to do a spring clean!

Completely refurbished to very high standards, all modifications meet the relevant safety standards and building regulations and have reduced our carbon footprint in many areas of the redesign. This includes double-glazed windows and doors, roof and wall insulation, and a heat recovery system. Where possible we have returned to traditional skills and building materials that befit a property first built around 1850. Regular maintenance and redecoration is undertaken to ensure your living space is kept fresh.

Parking
Whilst we cannot provide off-street private parking, there is usually a spot directly in front of the cottage. Sometimes you may have to park a little way up the hill, on-street parking is free. We have a polite notice asking people to keep clear for disabled access. We have nice neighbours who respect each others need to park as close to home as possible.
