Thank you for a wonderful stay here at Sorgente. We’ve really enjoyed our winter break in Cornwall and this has been the perfect base for exploring – most importantly it was warm, cosy, comfortable and well-equipped and a joy to come back to every afternoon. I’m sure subsequent visitors will add more about what to visit in the area but we enjoyed Cadgwith (crab sandwiches from a local boat), Alba restaurant in St.Ives, the 3 Mackerel in Swanpool and the Maritime Museum in Falmouth. Our New Years’ resolution is to come back again and we look forward to all the lovely touches that we’ve enjoyed at Sorgente and seeing more of this end of Cornwall! Nadine, Domonique and Pascale (8 months).

It has been a delight to stay in such a carefully thought-out holiday property. Everything to hand and so clean and light. Very relaxing – particularly the stars through the bathroom skylight. We’ve emailed friends and relatives to let them know of Sorgente. You have brought a little of the Meditteranean atmosphere and light. We would like to come again. Your agents and caretaker could not have been more helpful and welcoming! Carol and Lucas.

Sorgente è una bella casa e la regione è anche moltissimo bello! E’ buona dèsere vicino l’università ma anche la spiagia perchè amo guardare l’onde. A lovely cottage with thoughtful touches throughout. Great bathroom once we’d mastered the controls! Val, Charlie and Elie.

A beautiful cottage. So very comfortable – a home away from home but nicer! A week definitely wasn’t long enough. The highchair and stairgates especially useful for us, but not advertised on the website. Worth mentioning as you’ll get more families. Sarah and Dan Parkman.

The Breen Family Holiday. We have had a fantastic holiday. The cottage is really really special. Thank you for choosing to make it into a holiday home for everyone to enjoy. It’s beautiful. My 8 yr old boy has never been so clean, he loves the rain shower! Weather has been fab, so we’ve spent many days on the beach. For all those nautical loves, the Maritime Museum is brilliant. We love Cornwall, we love this cottage. We will definately be recommending it to our family and friends. Thank you very much. Sara, Dan, Ellis and Louie from Manchester. P.s. Mariners in Penryn is the best chippy ever!!

We had a lovely holiday, cottage was great, loved the little touches. We recommend “Fifteen”; at Watergate Bay and Gilly Beach Restaurant. The folder was really useful to work the appliances, but some top tips for the local area would be fantastic alongside some practical info like where to put the rubbish/recycling etc. We worked out that its collected on Wednesday but nothing about recycling. A fun time had by all, especially Fi (16 months) who enjoyed looking at the attractions in the Maritime Museum. A lovely cafe and great view for a rainy lunchtime. Great value for money! Thanks again, Neil, Han & Fi and Nanny & Gramp.

We have loved staying at your cozy cottage, the bathroom is lovely and kitchen well equipped. We had three lovely days of sunshine and our favourite beaches were Gyllyngvase (sand) and Swanpool (stones but lovely). Spent a brilliant morning at Ships and Castles pool, the boys (7 & 8 yrs) loved the slide and wave machine. So desperate for somewhere for boys to play when pouring with rain and found ” Raze the Roof ” a fabulous indoor play area, the kids chose this as their favourite place of our whole holiday! Thanks so much. Jo, Justin, Callum and Zach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was within a few miles of the beautiful coastline for us to explore the sandy beaches, and the idyllic gardens of Glendurgan and Trelissick. The accommodation was comfortable, cosy and bright and Eleanor loved the deep bath and rain shower. Just needed to master the controls ! Many thanks. Nigel, Helen and Eleanor.

A lovely cottage and a week of good weather what more can you want? I’ve appreciated all the facilities provided and the fresh and cosy feel. It’s been a delight to enjoy. Thank you. P.S. Good evening meal to be had at Olivers in Falmouth (probably open lunchtime too). Park and Ride into St.Ives worth doing.

Had a lovely first holiday with our 18 month old son. Gyllyngvase beach and cafe. Maenporth – best beach. There’s a Sainsburys on a round-a-bout on the way into to Falmouth for those needing a supermarket. The museum was brilliant for a rainy day and Harbour View in Falmouth do awesome burgers! Thanks for having us! Suzi, Phil and Nathan. P.S. Careful on those stairs!.

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful cottage. The coastal walk to Flushing is interesting – look out for the swing in the woods. Went on many walks, however the most beautiful walk was around Kynance Cove – wonderful caves. Thank you. Katie, Vanessa, Helen. P.S. The slippers were a lovely touch. 19th to 26th November 2010.
